The gold default and the cool presets looked off in game. The panels are translucent, so the warm Minecraft world shows through them: the gold was loud, and the blue, purple and green tints turned muddy. Their bright pastel accents didn't match the game's colours either.

  • Saturn (default): near-neutral slate surfaces, a pale frost accent (#D3DCE6), and Saturn's butterscotch (#D9B98A) only on the scrollbar.
  • Saturn Gold: the old default, kept as a preset.
  • Mono: a new black-and-white preset that replaces Emerald.
  • Midnight and Amethyst: surfaces close to neutral and less saturated accents.
  • The preset cards wrap onto more rows when they'd be narrower than 100 units. With five cards at a larger menu scale, the widgets in their previews didn't fit.

The config stores colour values, not preset names, so players on the old default keep the gold, which shows as "Saturn Gold". New installs and Reset get the new default.

Compiled for 1.21.11. The colours haven't been checked on screen yet.

The gold over a warm Minecraft world was too much. The new default keeps
the surfaces close to neutral grey so the world showing through the glass
doesn't tint them, uses a pale frost for the accent, and keeps Saturn's
butterscotch only on the scrollbar. The old colors stay as "Saturn Gold".

Their tinted surfaces turned muddy with the warm world showing through,
and their bright pastel accents clashed with Minecraft's colors. The
surfaces are now close to neutral and the accents less saturated.

With five presets, the cards at a larger menu scale were narrower than
the widgets in their previews.
