# kali-configs

Not my dotfiles, but a guide of how i set up my kali linux machine
|
|
|
|
## Right after install
|
|
**Setup the dual monitor configuration using `Display` on the search panel**
|
|
|
|
**Update the system**
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
**NOTE: In kali linux or any debian based distro use `sudo dpkg -i <file>` to install .deb packages**
|
|
|
|
**Install Google Chrome (Browser) and log into your accounts** https://www.google.com/chrome/
|
|
|
|
**Set up git with GitHub using SSH** https://docs.github.com/en/authentication/connecting-to-github-with-ssh/generating-a-new-ssh-key-and-adding-it-to-the-ssh-agent
